LOIS QUISENBERRY (Murawska 1962) D.E. Dark pink. Parentage. Mons. Jules Elie x dark pink seedling of Mons. Jules Elie. Dwarf in height, large globular flower, darker than parent, orange shading throughout flower, slight fragrance. Bears the maiden name of that gracious lady, Mrs. Roy C. Gayle, Rockford, Illinois. LOVELY LOUISE (Murawska 1962) Parentage: Marie Crousse x Mrs. Livingston Ferrand. D.M. Light pink. Large double, wiry stems holds flower in all weather conditions. Shadings of the rainbow. MAJOR A. M. KREKLER (Johnson-Krekler 1957) D. LM. White. Originated by John M. Johnson, Liberty, Indiana. Stock purchased by Wm. Krekler. Large, white, full double. Strong stems. Tall (4 foot), late, midseason. Named for brother of Mr. Krekler, who was a tank Major, serving in Africa, Europe and Korea. Bulletin #143 December 1956.

MAXINE PALMER (Nicholls-Wild & Son 1958) (N 952) D.L. White rose type. When first opened the blossoms have a faint tinge of pink, with age fades to white. Yellow glow at base of petaloids. Sepals are red striped. Stiff stems. Registered by Gilbert H. Wild & Son. Bulletin #157 December 1957.
