YELLOW HEAVEN (Mr. Itoh in Japan. Itoh-Smirnow hybrid) First bloomed 1964. Parentage, Alice Harding (tree peony) - Kakoden. Semi-double herbaceous. Yellow with red blotches in center. Ball form, stamen, pollen, seeds, reliable and fragrant. 24-36" height. Mid-season. Has tree peony foliage with herbaceous plant habits. Purchased by me in 1966 for my exclusive use. Now known as Itoh-Smirnow hybrid. Introduced in this country and other countries by Louis Smirnow. Registered by Louis Smirnow January 16, 1974. Bulletin #209 March 1974.

ZENITH (Krekler) (66-B85) Albiflora, double, high built, large, pale pink, dense center petal-ball. 33" stem. Red sometime intermixed narrow petals. Bulletin #182 September 1966.

ZELLA DALE (Willis Smith, Ottumwa, Iowa 1972) (3-52) Bud white, opens to large white, rose type with cupped center. (Fanny Crosby x Le Cygne) Fragrant. H.M. at Van Wert National show, 1960. Bulletin #201 March 1972.

ZEUS (Krekler) (660R12) Double, red ball, early, hybrid, 2" height. Bulletin #182 September 1966.

ZUNI (Krekler) (66-B36) Hybrid. Black red, many golden stamens (pollen) landscape. Bulletin #182 September 1966.
