PINK PRINCESS - originator unknown, July 27. 1985. Re-registration for name correction of Pink Dawn by the Klehm Nursery. Single, speckled light pink, has been in commerce for at least 20 years. This flower has speckles in the clear pink petals and has been sold for Pink Dawn. The name is being discarded and replaced with Pink Princess. Bulletin #255.

PINK SHOWOFF-William H. Krekler, Somerville, Ohio, June 1977. Seedling #517. Flat light pink semi-double lactiflora. Upright. Registered by Roy Klehm. Bulletin #223.

PINK ROSETTE - Ben Gilbertson, Kindred, North Dakota, Feb. 4. 1984. Seedling # 8122. Parentage, seedling 5908 x parent unknown. No record of when it first bloomed. Rose pink, double lactiflora, flat form, no stamens, seeds or pollen. Reliable, good substance, good bloom. 30" height. Early to midseason, vigorous grower, medium green foliage. Petals placed so as to form a rosette. Fast increaser.

PRAIRIE PRINCESS - Don Hollingsworth, 5831 N. Colrain Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64151, July 7, 1984. Seedling # 199. Double lactiflora of hybrid origin. Parentage Kickapoo x Cytherea. First bloomed 1973. Large full double medium pink flowers on medium height stems, with good clean foliage, robust but refined, constitute a grand princess of the prairies. Pollen, seeds reliable, late bloom. Long lasting as a cut flower, dependable, vigorous, performs well.

PURE JOY - Myron D. Bigger, 1976, (11-58). Parentage unknown. Full rose type double on a fine 36" stem with good clean dark green foliage. Beautifully shaded pink in two or three shades. Well blended so as to make the flower pure joy. Many peonies are larger but not many more beautiful. Mild but fine fragrance.
