P. suffruticosa Andr. subsp. ostii (J. Hong et J. X. Zhang) J. J. Halda stat. nov.

[bas: P. ostii T. Hong et J. X. Zhang in Bull. Bot. Res. 12(3):223 (1992)].

Differs from subsp. rockii having narrowly ovate-lanceolate, entire leaflets, which are glabrous beneath; terminal leaflets 1-3 lobed. Petals mostly white, without purple basal blotch; filaments, discs and styles purplish red. Gansu, Henan, Hunan, Shaanxi.
