GREER GARDSON (Payne, 1945) - Double - Pink - Late Midseason. Average to large in size. Fragrance intense and agreeable. Large to very large, rather compact full double flower without stamens or pistils, opening (according to Ridgway) pale rosaline purple, fading to rose pink, borne on a medium compact plant of average to large size. Good, clean growth with disease resistant medium green foliage. Bloom held rather high above the foliage on good stems with no lateral bloom most seasons. Bulletin 98.
