Pink Vanguard (Seidl/Hollingsworth 2005) Early to Early midseason. Best Landscaper Large pink, semi-double on a strong plant. Long, broad guard petals surround several rows of inner petals having excellent substance. Opens a cool medium pink hue, passing lighter as the flower ages red accents at center. The plant is medium tall and erect, clothed in broad leaflets of deep bluish green. Foliage holds good appearance throughout the season. Side buds extend flowering. Very vigorous plant with flowers that are resistant to late freeze damage. Fertile both ways and parent of early midseason doubles. Item 1827.
