Tao Hong Fei Cui. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 20 cm x 10cm, deep pinkish red (55-B). The outer petals 3-4-whorled, broad and large, the inner petals wrinkled; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured in the lower flower. Petals relatively few, rugose; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks stout, slightly pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, large-sized, slightly thick; leaflets long ovate, apex acuminate. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1978. |
