Hong Mei Ao Xue. Crown form. Flowers 20cm x 7cm, light red faintly purple (52-D); the outer petals 2-whorled, large, thin, soft, shallowly toothed at the apex, dark purple basal blotches, the inner petals soft, wrinkled, relatively sparse, curved, lighter colour at the apex, a few stamens grow among the petals, smaller. Stalks slender, flowers pendulous. Flowering late midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches slender, curved. Leaves long, medium-sized, soft; leaflets long ovate or nearly lanceolate, acuminate at the apex, pendulous, the margins curved upwards. Growth vigorous, flowers many, very adaptable. Bred by Team 9, Zhaolou, Heze in 1980. |
