Xiu Li Hong. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 15cm x 4cm, purplish red (53-B), lustrous; petals, multi-whorled, arranged regularly, thick, stiff, dark purple basal blotches; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils 7-9, floral discs deep purple. Stalks fairly long, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium to dwarf, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, thick, stiff; leaflets elliptic, acuminate at the apex, upper surface deep green. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1967. |
