Xiu Wai Hui Zhong. Crown form. Flowers 17cm x 9cm, deep pink (55-D); the outer petals 2- whorled, large, entire and regular, thick, purplish red basal blotches, large; the inner petals very small, rugose, crowded, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils small or short, floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering late. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, fairly sparse; leaflets ovate, apex acute, the margins curved upwards. Growth medium; flowers many, neatform; tolerant of spring frost. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1995. |
