Paeonia 'Priscilla Alden'

type: [herbaceous peony] – [species cultivar] – [lactiflora]

PRISCILLA ALDEN (Roberts-Fewkes, 1926) - Double - White - Early. Pleasing odor. Rose type, very large bloom, color white, pleasing odor, stiff stems, vigorous grower. Although the color is white, it is not a dead white as in Festiva Maxima, but slightly tinted, giving it a very pleasing quality. The general character of the flower is much after the Baroness Schroeder type, but unlike that variety it is very early, blooming at the same time as Festiva Maxima. Bulletin 27.

PRISCILLAALDEN (1926) - Double, early Large blush fading lighter. This needs some age to show its very beautiful flowers at their best. H.M.
