Fen Yu Qiu. Globular form. Flowers 13cm x 8cm, pink (73-C) with bluish; the outer petals 4-whorled, stiff, flat, bluish purple basal blotches ; the inner petals broad and large, the inner and the outer ones of similar size, layered, crowded, wrinkled, with radical streaks purple, normal or small stamens grow among petals; pistils small or petaloid, floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly slender, short, flowers upright. Flowering early. Plant dwarf, partially spreading. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized; petioles 12cm long; leaflets ovate or long ovate, apex acuminate, the margins slightly curved upwards, suffused with purple; upper surface rough, deep green, suffused with purple. Growth medium, flowers many, neatform, tolerant of strong sunshine. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1991. |
