Ping Hu Qiu Yue. Crown form. Flowers 18cm x 10cm, multi-colour; the outer petals 2-3-whorled, thick, stiff, flat, entire and regular, pink with slightly bluish (65-C), pale purple at the base; the inner petals narrowly long, rugose, crowded, yellowish (159-C), some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, pistils 5, floral discs pale purple. Stalks long, stiff; flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, sparse; leaflets ovate or broadly ovate, obtuse at the apex. Growth vigorous; flowers many, tolerant of spring frost, diseases and salinity-alkalinity. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1984. |
