Pink Angel (Christensen 1948) E. Single; light pink petals, the center highlighted by red-purple filaments and stigmas. Abundant flowers, set close to the medium height, broad bush, make a prominent presentation in the early border; big petals and big leaflets offer texture contrast. The published pedigree is incoherent. However, the large leaflets assure descent from the Saunders. P. macrophylla. Fertile, presumed tetraploid.
