ALICE REED BATES (Franklin, 1939) - Double - Rose pink - Midseason. Tall. Full rose type, double of intermediate live color, large and compact. Outer petals broad and rounded, inner narrow cupped and symmetrically concentric. Tall with stiff stems. Has been called MRS. BATES or MRS. GUY REED BATES. Klehm's 1955 catalog says. Midseason. Bulletin 76.

ALICE REED BATES (G1-1p) (1939) - Double, mid-season. Light rose pink. Outer petals broad and rounded, inner petals narrow.
