Mo Kui. Crown form. Flowers 17cm x 9cm, purple (74-C); the outer petals 2-whorled, large, stiff, dark purple basal blotches; the inner petals wrinkled, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, crowded, curved over; pistils small or petaloid. Stalks fairly pliable; flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches stout, curved. Leaves orbicular, large-sized, large, thick; leaflets broadly ovate, obtuse at the apex. Growth vigorous; flowers many, large, neatform. Classic variety.
