BARTZELLA (Roger F. Anderson), Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, 1986. Itoh full double yellow hybrid with red flares. Seedling #A81-10. First bloomed 1986. Parentage, white lactiflora double x Reath hybrid tree. This Itoh is a large full double yellow ball with red flares, 6-8" blooms with strong 32" stems holding the flowers on top of the plant. Above average bloom. 30 blooms the first year of blooming size. Excellent substance. No seed or pollen. Fragrant. Color of pollen parent A 198. Bulletin #259.

BARTZELLA Interscctional hybrid raised by Roger Anderson. Flowers: yellow, red flares; double. large (25 cm or 10 in). very prolific, lemon - scented. mid - season flowering. Leaves: dark green, beautiful. Habit: erect, about 75 cm (2 ft) high.

BARTZELLA. Ibrido intersezionale ottenuto da Rog Anderson. Fiore grande (25 cm), doppio, giallo fiammato di rosso, portamento eretto. Pianta alta circa 75 cm, fiorisce a metà stagione con moltissimi fiori profumati di limone. Bei fogliame verde scuro.

An American Peony Society Grand champion winner in 2002. Bartzella is the Queen in the garden! Robust plant with an abundance of large semi-double to double yellow flowers. A luminous yellow with huge flowers! Every flower measures 15 to 20 cm. The inside part of the flower is tinted with red. Fragrant. Good flowering plant, each mature Bartzella can hold more than 60 flowers with a continuing blooming period from two weeks to one month. The flowers are held high above the foliage by robust stems. Start blooming at the end of mid-season until sometimes late season. Excellent plant both for the cut and dried flowers. Height: 90cm.

La reine des reines! Couronnée ¨Grande Championne¨lors de la 97ième Exposition annuelle de l'Association Américaine des Pivoines en juin 2002. La pivoine Bartzella est un plant robuste avec une abondance de larges fleurs jaunes semi-doubles à doubles. Un jaune lumineux! Chaque fleur mesure de 15 à 20 cm. L’intérieur de la fleur est maculé de rouge. Parfumée. Très florifère, chaque plant peut avoir plus de 60 fleurs avec une floraison qui peut se prolonger de deux semaines à un mois lorsqu’il a atteint sa maturité. Les fleurs sont portées par des tiges robustes et se tiennent bien en évidence au-dessus du feuillage. Floraison en mi-saison i.e. ici à Chicoutimi, la floraison débute vers le 24 juin. Excellente plante pour la fleur coupée et séchée. Plant pouvant atteindre plus d'un mètre
