Cui Ye Zi. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 8cm, purple (68-A); the outer petals 3- whorled, entire and regular, stiff, flat, suffused with deep purple at the base; the inner petals regular; pistils small or petaloid. Stalks fairly long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches fairly stout. Leaves orbicular, medium- sized, thick; stiff, fairly sparse; leaflets ovate, the margins curved upwards, apex obtuse, a few leaflets abnormal. Growth medium, flowers many, young branches and leaves green in early spring. Bred by Team 9, Zhaolou, Heze in 1971.
