VARIETIES INTRODUCED BY HANS P. SASS : Hermione (1932) - 7-28. Double, mid-season. A large medium pink that has made a good name for itself. In most lists this name is grossly mispelled HERMOINE.

HERMOINE (VF)(L)(Sass) A lavish pink full double that's an old fashioned delight; a huge flower with frilly petals of rich apple-blossom pink and a heavenly fragrance,

HERMOINE A really excellent older variety. Neat, pale pink fully double' sweetly perfumed flowers held on stiff stems. Has all the virtues expected in a quality peony plant. Great for picking and diving. Pink Double, Mid season fragrant, 80cm.

Hermione (H.P. Sass, 1932) L.  Full Double; clear light pink petals, unusually so for this group, form a large  flower on tall, straight stems.  Stands well for the height, but probably best with support for flowering in the landscape.  Strong grower.

Hermoine (H. P. Sass, 1932) Pink, double, very fragrant, late-midseason, lactiflora cultivar. A lavish pink full double that's an old fashioned delight; a huge flower with frilly petals of rich apple-blossom pink and a heavenly fragrance. May need support.
