type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

2005:

Having characteristics of flaxen bloom, resembling the silk chou, 13cm×13 cm corolla, two annuluses of narrow and long outer petals, the slightly twisted inner petals lenthways bent resembling a scoop with smaller magenta base speckles. The biggish center petals are slightly neat with anthers distributed individually on petals top; the magenta base speckles have a white strip within it. The stamens are full-grown or degenerative; the full-grown stamens mixed within petals have yellow anthers and white filaments. The five pistils have milk yellow stigmas and floral disc nearly full wrapped. The blooms are patulous laterally, fewer seeds to be produced. The 15 lobules, among them, 5 lobules are distributed at the top and 5 for each side with green, red demitint, few tomentas. The growing situation of it is vigorous with about 18cm long branches growing in the year it is planted, slow growth, half patulous shape and few sprouts. It has medium blooming date.
