Paeonia 'jindinggongzhu'

type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

To be called ”Jin Ding Gong Zhu” in Chinese, with characteristics of pink bloom, the shape between chrysanthemum and sweet-scented osmanthus, 16cm×8 cm corolla and peachy buds. Two annuluses of slightly crapy and twisted outer petals, with formal edge and purple base speckles, have radiated and red stripes around them. The narrow and long inner petals are twisted and crapy with anther on its top and rose color base speckles. The numerous stamens have long, biggish anther bent like a hook, and thick, pompadour, and twisted filaments. The five full-grown pistils have milk yellow stigmas without floral disc. The 17 lobules, with 7 lobules are distributed at the top, 10 lobules for two sides with few tomentas. The large scale and round leaves is green . The growing situation of it is vigorous with erective shape, many blooms and many sprouts. It is new variety from Lanzhou Zhongchuan Peony and Chinese Peony Garden.
