Paeonia 'Jin Du Zi'

Wangcheng Park, Luoyang in 1969.

Jiu Du Zi. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 17 cm x llcm, pale purple (67-B), slightly lustrous. The outer petals 6-7- whorled, flat, entire and regular; stamens normal; pistils developed, mixed purple and green coloured petals in the lower flower. Petals fairly large, erect, the margins lobed; stamens normal; pistils normal, stigmas red; floral discs greenish white. Stalks straight, flowers slightly lateral. Flowering late. Plant tall, erect. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; leaflets nearly lanceolate, apex acuminate, curved downwards. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Wangcheng Park, Luoyang in 1969.
