Du Juan Hong. Rose form. Flowers 17cm x 5cm, purplish red (61-B), bright-colour; petals multi-whorled, broad and large, wrinkled at the apex, suffused with deep purplish red at the base; some stamens petaloid, narrowly long, rugose; pistils 5-7; floral discs purplish red. Stalks long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering late. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches fairly slender, stiff, slightly curved. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, sparse; leaflets ovate, acute at the apex, pendulous, the mar-gins slightly curved upwards, suffused with purple. Growth medium, flowers many, produced in profusion, tolerant of strong sunshine, flowering period late. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1984.
